Spring causes changing problems

My wife rides a nice little black carbon number equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset. She's recently been complaining that changing gear with the front dérailleur has been getting increasingly difficult. I get on the bike and can't find anything wrong! However, when she says that she's getting signs of arthritis in her left hand I start to take notice.

"The Workshop" is available to clients by logging into our website. All clients receive an invitation by e-mail to create a user account. Once logged in you can book a service, track your bike service and, as long as you've set up your mobile phone, you will receive an automated SMS message when your bike is ready to collect. It's the wrong grease Grommit!

Yet another bottom bracket assembled using the wrong type of grease. In addition the bottom bracket had not been serviced for some time and was seized. Of course this one used plastic cups both sides and the plastic had deteriorated and lost its strength. So, cups drilled and cut out, threads re-cut and a new bottom bracket fitted - with the right type of grease of course!

Workshop refurbishment nearing completion

It doesn't look like much has happened here but good progress has been made with the refurbishment. The workshop has been insulated and decorated. The floor was repainted today. A new heater and dehumidifier have been purchased. The Perfo board for the most used and accessible tools has been fitted. The floor paint has to cure and we're awaiting the arrival of a full workshop kit of Var tools.
